Many residents should expect to lose homeowner grants

As home values rise throughout Metro Vancouver, many homeowners are expected to lose their $570 homeowner grant. For example, numbers calculated by Postmedia News from Vancouver show as many as 30,000 homeowners may now be pushed past the $1.2 million elligibility mark- leaving many, such as seniors on a fixed income struggling to get by.
