Gander, Newfoundland proves its hospitality once again

For many people, the September 11th attacks were what introduced them to the small Newfoundland town of Gander.

The way that local residents responded to the 2001 terrorist attacks served as inspiration for the hit Broadway musical Come From Away. They took people into their homes, fed them, and made them feel at home. So, when a couple of airplanes made an unexpected landing in Gander just recently, residents once again went into full welcoming mode!
