BC's new home buyer's initiative is "a good start"- mortgage expert

This week, the provincial government announced a new home buyers' initiative for British Columbians, where they will match down payments up to $37,500 or 5% of the purchase price on a 25 year loan, meaning that during the first 5 years, no monthly interest or principal payment are required. While many sounded off angrily to the plan saying it is not enough to help. Angela Calla says it is a good start.
