BC government proposing a potentially major overhaul to the Land Act!

The provincial government is proposing giving indigenous groups more decision-making powers when it comes to public land use in BC. This would mean a major overhaul of the Land Act that would enable agreements with indigenous governing bodies to have joint decision-making power about public land use alongside the lands minister.
