Show Notes

This weekend, the Mainland BC Military Family Resource Centre (BCMFRC) is putting families first and presenting an emergency preparedness session specifically designed for the loved ones of military members and first responders. Research has shown that it’s much easier for military members and first responders to focus on their jobs – including in dangerous situations – if they know their families are safe. However, that assurance decreases if they are called up to serve during a natural disaster (e.g. wild fires) that may threaten the safety of their own families.

Guest: Tracy Cromwell - BCMFRC Executive Director
