PLOT: Last weekend was the grand opening of Riverwood College, with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque and the first ringing of the college’s bell.Three historic city schools Voortrekker High School, Gert Maritz Primary and Siembamba Pre-Primary — have started this year as the merged Riverwood College.
This follows the Department of Basic Education giving its approval for the merger last August and a closing ceremony for Voortrekker High School in October.
