Statistics South Africa released the Quarterly Labour Survey (QLS) yesterday which as predicted painted a grim picture about employment. The economy in South Africa has lost 2.2 million jobs and for a country that has been in economic trouble before the Covid19 pandemic crisis. This means that nearly 10 million people are out of work in South Africa and this has major social implications for our country.
