Percy Malepe, from Diepsloot in Johannesburg works hard to improve the lives of people in his community. He is the founder and chairperson of Ikemeleng Foundation – an NPO that feeds 400 people a day, offers free sports and afterschool classes to learners and a food garden. The youth organisation operates in Extension 1, and was founded in 2020 during the hard lockdown. We spoke to him last year, and catch up with him on the needs of the organisation as the schooling year commences…
