A new biocontrol agent, Evippe sp, a moth that develop on foliage of
invasive Prosopis species, researched by ARC-PHP, was released for the first time in Africa, on 23 February 2021 at the Square Kilometre Array telescope in the Meerkat Nature Reserve in the Northern Cape by one of their scientists Fritz Heystek’s at the Agricultural Research Council (ARC).
