Mike Gormley, Chris, and I recorded this interview at the height of confusion caused by the pandemic. Musicians were not touring or performing in the traditional ways.

Chris Hillman is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a four-time Grammy nominee, three-time CMA nominee, three-time ACM award winner (Academy of Country Music), and a recipient of the AMC Lifetime Achievement Award...And he is a true musical pioneer.
He was the original bassist of The Byrds, with frequent collaborator Gram Parsons. Chris was a key figure in developing country rock, defining the genre through his work with The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Manassas, and the country rock group The Desert Rose Band.
