In just a few months, December 15th to be exact, the Federal Government has announced that you’ll be able to buy a home worth up to $1.5M with a smaller downpayment, at 5% on the first $500K, and 10% on the remaining portion. Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland stepped forward with this announcement that is getting mixed reviews
