Multiple Sclerosis is a debilitating disease of the nervous system, where the immune system attacks the protective sheath that covers nerve fibers and causes communication problems between your brain and the rest of your body.
Co-Founder and CEO of StandUp2MS, Regina Schroeder has been battling multiple sclerosis since 1981, she’s devoted her life to raising awareness for the condition and empowering those living with MS.
Regina along with StandUp2MS board member, Ian Green join Janice to share both of their experiences with the condition. Regina and Ian inform listeners of the fundraising event they are organizing for StandUp2MS, at the Gotham Comedy Club on Monday, September 18th at 6PM.
