Thanks to her grandson Aron Goodman, Tova Friedman, one of the youngest Polish Holocaust survivors, has over five hundred thousand followers on TikTok.
At just 17 years old Aron is a passionate advocate for social justice, posting short form content of his grandmother’s firsthand account of surviving Auschwitz, serving as a powerful reminder of the atrocities committed during World War II. Aron shares his grandmother’s stories with the world to combat the pervasive antisemitism on the internet and the lack of access to Holocaust education in schools.
Tova and Aron join Janice to share their experience with discrimination, revisiting Auschwitz together years after the camp’s liquidation, and what they are doing to educate the public on the history of the Holocaust.
