The complete narrative of caste, birth-based caste discrimination and untouchability in India is based on a book by Dr. BR Ambedkar, "Who Were The Shudras'. Unlike his most other books, this book lacks references. Dr. Tribhuwan Singh has done a complete analysis of this book, and has come up with very unflattering conclusions. Dr. Ambedkar himself admits that he did not know Sanskrit and had used English translations, which we know to have been completely flawed and done by the Western Indologists to run the Sanatana Dharma down. To this, the good Dr. Ambedkar has added his own axioms that have zero basis in shastric texts or other scriptures. Dr. Singh is hosted by Sanjay Dixit for his very objective analysis.
