Waqf Act has had to endure two inquisitions in two days from the top Courts. On Tuesday, the Supreme Court questioned the entire working of Waqf bodies and their unbridled power under S. 4, 5, 6, and 40. On Wednesday, Allahabad High Court admitted another plea to abolish Waqf Act. Sanjay Dixit analyses.
