Precession is the motion of a round body's axis as it rotates. This axial motion projects a circle/quasi-circle on a plane. However, Surya Siddhanta has a model of precession in which the rotating body's axial motion as the axis wobbles to and fro, projects a to and fro line, or a trepidation movement, on the same plane. The discrepancy has given rise to conflicting theories of chronology. Vedveer Arya joins Sanjay Dixit to validate the modern theory of precession and also to explain the context of Surya Siddhanta.
