Over 18500 NGOs were due for renewal between September and December, but only about 12500 applied. These 6000 plus another 10,000 not renewed means 16000 NGOs less in the FCRA category, also means less funds for anti-national and anti-Hindu activities. Sanjay Dixit examines the controversy.
