Jami Masjid in Srirangpatna, Tipu's erstwhile capital, is supposed to have been built after demolishing an Anjaneya (Hanuman) Temple. So it was fitting that a VHP led movement succeeded in reciting Hanuman Chalisa there yesterday in the heart of the bigot's monument.
