St. Nicholas whose Dutch version became Santa Klaus was an avid temple breaker and proselytizer. His gifts were from the Xtians, by the Xtians, and for the Xtians. Also, Christmas was a pre-Christian festival that was digested by the Church. Sanjay Dixit explains.
