The Rajya Sabha Secretariat has informed that the Department related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education (besides others) has invited suggestions for 'Reforms in the Content and Design of School Text Books' with focus on history text books. Sanjay Dixit explains how best to make use of this opportunity. We should also utilise this opportunity to urge the Committee to also look at the course content of Maths, Science, and Social Science books too. Let us utilise this to change at least the History books.
