Assam has started demolishing madarsas attached to Al-Qaeda, an organisation banned in India under UAPA. UP has started a survey of all unrecognised madarsas. Madarsas cannot be allowed to teach a curriculum that goes against national values. Sanjay Dixit welcomes the baby-steps and lays down a future course of action.
