Today, I'm going into the vault to bring you my first podcast interview - with former coworker Don Banks, of iHeartMedia in New Orleans. Don, through Ancestry DNA, found his birth family, at age 58. It's an amazing, touching, heartwarming story, and one we could use these days.
From a podcast perspective, I think it's important to look back at your first episode. Most podcasters will hate what they hear. For me, I've definitely learned a lot since then. And while my production skills could have been better when I started, the content is worth it. It also helps that Don has a professional radio setup in his home. As for me, I was using Zoom at my kitchen table. A hard lesson learned.
Technical jargon aside, this is an amazing story. I hope you enjoy.
