Show Notes
Lately, our societies have been dealing with more technology than ever before — some expected — some not so much. Nevertheless, rushing technology into the public should always require a lot of testing and even more thinking.
We know that we cannot predict the future, but we do know that looking at things from every possible angle and asking as many “what if“ questions can help prevent dangerous, “unexpected” consequences .
Rushing technology is almost never a good idea, especially when the decisions are driven by strong emotions and fears.
Thankfully some organizations help us balance the risk/benefit equation. Electronic Frontier Foundation is one of them.
Listen to this podcast and discover what this mindset means for something like the Vaccine Passport and what it could mean for our privacy if not done right.
