Kyle shares his background in IT and how he got started in the field, including playing games and chatting on AOL as a kid. Phillip welcomes Kyle O'Mara as a guest on the show. They discuss Kyle's background and how he got into computer science and information technology. He recounts his journey from playing computer games as a child to being interested in computer science after seeing a supercomputer built from Xboxes by a fellow college student to switching his major from criminal justice to computer science and working at an ISP in college. After graduation, he struggled to find a job and considered joining the military, but eventually landed a role at a help desk. He eventually found his passion in threat hunting and ICS.
