Meanwhile, the anti-Brexit party Change UK - The Independent Group has announced its candidates for next month’s European elections. Later: Comedian Volodymyr Zelenskiy has promised not to let Ukrainians down and held up his country as a democratic example to all post-Soviet states, after claiming a crushing presidential election victory over incumbent Petro Poroshenko. Zelenskiy made a name for himself on TV playing a teacher who becomes president by a twist of fate. What will his real-life presidency mean for Ukraine’s key relationships with Russia and the EU?
