Show Notes

In this episode, I talk with mental health counselor and badass social justice activist, Kristine Guevara, about the importance of embracing our darkness in service of creating space to lean into our lives fully. How do we surrender to our difficult emotions and experiences in service of living into our joy?

Kristine is a mental health counselor based out of Tacoma, WA, and the founder of Calm Waters Mental Health Counseling, which prioritizes the mental health of BIPOC individuals. She specializes in trauma and grief and loss, with a strong concentration around multiculturalism, social justice, and identity. She values making a difference in the lives of underserved and unseen populations, many of which have fallen through cracks of our broken societal systems.
