Federal suits and orders do matter as we run into the burning building to save democracy. The latest example, a Trump appointed judge just forced his Administration to release $100 million dollars in funding to the National Endowment for Democracy (which Trump despises). Popok explains that the Judge Freidrich also embarrassed Trump by reminding him that the Congressionally-created NED was set up to combat "authoritarianism" "extremism" and "instability" as a not so subtle jab at his Administration.
