As Russia’s military advance has stalled, it has turned its firepower against civilian targets, resulting in widespread death, but also in the <a href="https://www.economist.com/culture/2022/03/19/vladimir-putins-war-endangers-ukraines-cultural-heritage" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">destruction</a> of Ukraine’s cultural legacy.
