On this week's show, I welcome a true legend in Dean Shapiro, Senior Vice President and Head of U.S. Development for Oxford Properties. Dean shares with us his incredible story from the time he went to Vanderbilt University to some of his first jobs. Dean was behind the development of Hudson Yards in New York City, one of the largest and most transformative projects in modern day development. He shares with us the struggles that went along with it, and two other large scale developments that he believes have transformed communities. Dean also gives us some great insight as to how he got to where he is today and what students or young professionals should look for in a company when joining.
