On this week's show, I welcome fellow Colgate graduate and close friend, Thomas Campbell, Founder and Principal of Thorobird LLC. Tune in to hear Thomas discuss his early career working in finance at Merrill Lynch to moving back down to Florida for a short time in order to shadow a small-time developer. Thomas explains that working with a smaller firm and developer ultimately helped shape his entrepreneurial spirit in the industry and helped garnish the relationships and knowledge he has today. He also explains some of the innovative projects he's currently working on, such as a modular development site he is putting up in Brooklyn. Later in the show we welcome a panel consisting of Kirsten Beck of Avison Young, Gene Kaufman of GKA, and Michael Santora of SB+C Architecture examining what can be done with a building upon purchasing it.
