10. From Interning to Mastering Development with Susan Hewitt

On this week's show, I welcome Susan Hewitt, co-founder of the Chesire Group, a real estate investment firm specializing in New York metro-area multifamily properties. Tune in to hear how talking her way into a summer job after college at a small development firm in Providence, Rhode Island set up her career in real estate. She gives us an inside look at how working on small conversion projects gave her a base knowledge of all the many facets of development including project management, construction, financing and planning. Susan also shares some of the larger projects that she's worked on, as well as her involvement with the New York Islanders new arena and the many parts incorporated with sports development.
