383: Assassin's Creed Mirage, Payday 3 and Counter-Strike 2

We have a lot of game reviews this episode! We open with Assassin's Creed Mirage. It's a toned down version of the recent RPG focused Assassin's Creed games. This is a prequel to Valhalla following the story of Basim. Does the game bring back the nostalgia we wanted or does nostalgia leave a sour taste in our mouth?
We also played the multiplayer co-op game Payday 3. This is a light review, focusing on a few of the levels in the game. It's a ton of fun to play but does have some issues that are worth noting. Will this game keep us engaged long-term?
Brett and Austin play Counter-Strike 2. This is the surprise follow up to Counter-Strike Global Offensive. It features a lot of new quality of life updates with refreshes of all the maps from GO, but people are upset they totally removed GO from the store. Was this the right move for them?
Finally, we discuss the Meta Quest 3 and if it will be enough to bring us back into the VR fold. It has a lto of promising features but it may be that VR as a whole needs an evolution a hardware upgrade can't provide.
