In the church, there is a stigma around going to counseling. We're encouraged to 'pray more' and seemingly negative emotions are viewed as bad things to simply just be prayed away.
But as a Christian leader there may be unspoken things in your heart that you fear sharing with others. Pastoral counselings goal is always to provide a safe place where you're able to express and deal with those things. Within that place you can be free to share and then, ultimately, find the freedom because of the ability to share.
In today's episode, I'm joined by pastoral counselor, Rhonda Failoni, as she shares the amazing breakthrough and growth that can come when you open yourself up and are willing to be vulnerable.
