Show Notes
It was the bloodiest day in Lebanon since the end of a brutal 15-year civil war. Israel intensified its air campaign, launching deadly air strikes throughout Monday and into Tuesday morning, targeting the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah. Up to 500 were killed, with thousands more wounded. Women, children and medics were among the casualties. Concerns have been voiced about the prospect of a wider Middle East conflict breaking out. However, with Palestine and Lebanon under bombardment, the question must be asked: has it already begun? Host: Fionnán Sheahan, Guest: Declan Power
