Conor McGregor, one of Ireland's biggest sporting and celebrity names, has been involved in a high-profile civil rape case, which is being heard in the High Court. The mixed martial arts superstar and his co-defendant, James Lawrence, are accused of sexually assaulting and raping Nikita Hand, a hair colourist from Drimnagh, in a Dublin hotel in December 2018. Both men strongly deny the claims. Shane Phelan and Catherine Fegan discuss the accusations fielded by both prosecution and defence as the trial moves into its second week.
