Your midday Illinois weather update
Multiple flood warnings are in effect across Illinois today as we prepare for a significant severe weather outbreak this afternoon and evening. The National Weather Service has placed areas east and north of a Havana-Springfield-Mattoon line under an Enhanced Risk for severe storms. In Right now at 4, 53 A.M., temperatures sit near 50 degrees, but we'll climb to 55 by noon before a sharp cooldown begins.
