Project Angel Food’s their mission?? ...to nourish the health and spirit of individuals facing critical and life-threatening illnesses by preparing and delivering medically tailored meals with love, care, and dignity and they’ve been doing it since 1989!! THOUSANDS of Angelinos in need, now rely on Project Angel Food...so they are hoping you will join them and support. There are so many ways to do it...volunteer, donate, deliver meals and more.
Since 1989...PAF has delivered more than 20 million meals to those living with cancer, diabetes, congestive heart failure, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses. They currently prepare, and hand deliver free, Medically Tailored Meals annually to more than 7,100 men, women and children – that’s 2,800 on any given day, throughout all 4,752 square miles of L.A. County. Most importantly, 89 cents of every dollar raised goes directly toward agency operations to purchase food, fuel, and other essential supplies to meet the growing need for our services.
