Today we're broadcasting live from the Petoskey Ice Arena with our affiliates WMBN 104.7fm & 1340am. Throughout the show, we talked about Michigan and Michigan State Basketball, the Detroit Lions and the Combine, Ferris State Hockey, Petoskey Hockey, and more as we were joined by some of our great guests. We kicked off the show talking about Michigan Basketball as Clayton Sayfie from theWolverine.com joined us. He and Huge talked about last nights win over Minnesota that secured Michigan at least a share of the Big Ten title, Clayton updated us on Michigan Football, and more. Alex Urban from the "Eat em Up: Detroit Tigers Podcast" then joined us. He and Huge gave their thought's on the Tigers and Spring Training, talked about the poor hitting they've seen, and more. We wrapped up the hour with a "Moving Ferris Forward" as Bill spoke with Brett Riley, who is the Ferris State Men's Head Hockey Coach. He talked about what year 1 has been like for him and the team, talked about how they're growing fan interest and connecting with the community, and more. In our second hour, we were joined by Jeff Risdon from the Detroit Lions Podcast. He's down at the NFL Combine, so he updated us on what he's heard today in regards to our Detroit Lions, talked about Decker's announcement that he'll be back next season, and more. We were then joined by Mitch Lyons from Mitch Lyons Wealth. He and Huge talked about the U.S. Hockey teams taking home the gold on Sunday, Mitch told us how he can help with your retirement, and more. We were then joined by Fed Fedorov, who runs the Petoskey Ice Arena. He talked about all the different programs he offers there, talked about the U.S. Hockey teams coming home with gold medals, talked about the Red Wings retiring his brother Sergei's number, and more. In our final hour, we were joined by Jeremy Reisman from Pride of Detroit. He and Huge talked about the return of Decker and the impact he'll make, talked about what this team will look like when the season gets here, talked about players that could be signing deals soon, and much more. We then played Bill's earlier conversation with Clayton Sayfie in regards to Michigan Athletics. We wrapped up the show talking with Stephanie Jones who is the President of PAHA (Petoskey Area Hockey Association.) She and Huge talked about the growth of Youth Hockey in the Petoskey area, told us about their first travel teams, told us about their clinics and how you can become a part of PAHA, and much more.
