August 10, 2007 – This Week On SHoE – Derek takes on the one-man show act with lots of news surrounding the first six episodes of Smallville, including some careful stunt casting and new spoilers, as well as some great emails including a thorough discussion of Marvel vs. DC films.

August 4, 2007 – This Week On A Super-Sized SHoE: Derek tries to answer listener email but keeps getting interrupted by the phone ringing and special guests chiming in with their two cents. Also Comic-Con news and some things going on with SHoE. Derek’s feeling a little under the weather so apologies for the weak voice.

July 28, 2007 – This week on SHoE – Derek and guest-host Aly (of Undead America) discuss all the news coming in from SDCC in San Diego, including new promotions, spoilers for Smallville, the arrival of Supergirl in Kansas, information on The Dark Knight, what’s in store for next week’s episode 53 and more.

July 18, 2007 – This week on SHoE – The SHoE crew has returned, Derek is back with guest-host Shane to chime in on ALL the big news regarding Smallville, including casting details, spoilers, speculation and more – including big SHoE news; It’s great to be back and SHoE’s new all summer leading up to the return of Smallville.

May 17, 2007 – Clark tells Lana the truth about his origins, and learns that Lionel forced her to marry Lex. Martian Manhunter reveals Lionel is working as an emissary for Jor-El. Lois discovers Lex’s research facility. When she is fatally wounded, Chloe sacrifices herself to save Lois’ life. Lana tries to leave Smallville, but is caught in a car bomb; Lex is arrested for her murder. The last phantom copies Clark’s DNA, and becomes a “bizarre” version of Clark. This Week On the One Year Anniversary of SHoE – The second season finale of Starkville’s House of El finds Tucker, Houston, and Derek anxiously awaiting the arrival of Will for his final episode. In the meantime they discuss the season 6 closer.

May 10, 2007 – Lex uses the DNA from meteor-infected individuals, and that of Titan, to turn Wes Keenan into a super soldier. Wes’ first mission is to kill Senator Burke, who has threatened to expose Lex’s operation. Clark battles Wes, and defeats him using his heat vision. Martha takes a job in Washington, D.C. This Week On SHoE – It what will truly be remembered as one of the greatest episodes of the sixth season, Will, Derek, Tucker, and Houston sit down to talk about the impact of ‘Prototype’ in the Smallville universe, and how it’s events will set up next week’s finale. Plus we recap our weekend with James Carrington, discuss our own finale, share some news, laughs, and tears as we prepare to say goodbye to Will.

May 3, 2007 – Jimmy is knocked unconscious and dreams he’s a reporter for the Daily Planet in 1940. In the present, Chloe and Jimmy try to figure out who shot Lana, but it’s Lois and Lionel who discover that Lex is working with Senator Burke on a project called “Ares”. Chloe learns that Lionel forced Lana to marry Lex, and that he’s using her to spy on Lex. This weekend, Derek, Tucker and Graham hung out with singer/songwriter James Carrington, SHoE flew him into Starkville to play a few gigs, as well as sit in on this week’s podcast. April 26, 2007 – The wife of special forces soldier Wes Keenan kidnaps Lex in an effort to get her husband back from LuthorCorp and hides him in an abandoned tunnel system with bombs planted throughout. Lionel convinces Clark to go in after Lex. With the walls lined with kryptonite, and only a short time before everything collapses, Clark and Lex are forced to work together to escape the tunnels. This Week on SHoE – The guys deliver an in-depth and informative look into the friendship of Lex Luthor and Clark Kent by discussing the nineteenth episode of season six, ‘Nemesis’. Additional topics include the Justice & Doom promotions, countdown to the season finale, real life kryptonite and maybe even a Krypton-like planet. April 19, 2007 – Chloe’s mother wakes from her catatonic state with some help from Lex, who is interested in her ability to control meteor-enhanced people. Moira Sullivan quickly begins controlling Chloe in an effort to break out of Lex’s facility. With some help from Clark, she is able to see her daughter again, but without Lex’s drugs, she slips back into catatonia. Lana learns the truth about her pregnancy: she was never pregnant at all. This week on SHoE – Derek, Tucker, Houston and Graham talk about the return of Smallville with the latest episode: Progeny. We also give our thoughts about what may go down in the final episodes of Season 6 and what we can expect for the finale. The usual hilarity also ensues.

April 15, 2007 – This Week on SHoE – Derek takes the horse and pony show to new limits as a one-man endeavor for the first time ever on SHoE. But he doesn’t disappoint in bringing the latest news and spoilers for the final five episodes of Smallville and SHoE!

April 7, 2007 – This Week on SHoE – The Countdown has begun, and with only 5 episodes left until the season finales of Smallville and Starkville, Derek and Tucker provide all the latest news, discussion, and goings on in the Smallville/Superman universe, including hints at new cast members joining SHoE and the final days leading up to Tangent.

April 1, 2007 – This Week On SHoE – Results of our cancellation were highly exagerated! Happy April Fool’s Day fans, we’re back with our spoilerish, indepth look at the Season 6 finale – ‘Phantom’. Plus the usual bit of news, hilarity, contest details, and the countdown to the season 2 finale of Starkville’s House of El.

March 22, 2007 – Since Lana’s wedding, Clark has devoted himself to bringing wanted criminals to justice, by any means necessary. Getting a tip from Oliver, Clark learns about an underground fighting ring where Titan, an escaped Phantom Zone criminal, has taken up fighting krypto-warriors. Clark joins the fighting ring to take on Titan. Lana suffers a miscarriage, and Lex destroys all evidence of her pregnancy.

March 15, 2007 – Lana begins having second thoughts about her marriage to Lex, and finally decides to find out the truth about Clark. After learning the truth, by way of deception, Lana promises Clark that she isn’t going to marry Lex. Lionel realizes what is going on and forces Lana to walk down the aisle. Clark, unaware that Lana knows the truth, is stunned when she marries Lex. The SHoE crew is back after a week off and we’re coming’ at you with our thoughts on “Promise” the long awaited wedding episode. Graham and Derek talk about their recent travels with John Schneider as well as a few interesting things that are lining up in the SHoE universe.

March 4, 2007 – This Week on SHoE – Derek and Tucker continue on through the hiatus with dicussion on the upcoming ‘Promise’ and leading to the finale, also discussing Derek’s upcoming journey with John Schneider on the 2nd leg of the “Collier & Co.” tour, and we call Graham whose gone on ahead of Derek and is currently with John. Plus, the countdown to Tangent.

February 15, 2007 – Tobias, a young man who was blinded in the last meteor shower, is being used to identify kryptonite-enhanced individuals so that LuthorCorp can place tracking devices in all of them. Unaware of what is really happening, he identifies Chloe as being kryptonite-infected. Fearing what she will become, Clark promises to look after her and any potential power she may develop. Tucker and Will review “Freak.” Derek is out of town resulting in the first time ever missed an episode of SHoE.

February 8, 2007 – While Lana continues her investigation into Clark, someone else begins stalking her. No matter where she goes they continue to find her, leaving her gifts and death threats. Lana begins to fear for her safety. For safety, she stays with Martha, and uses the opportunity to learn more about Clark. When she returns to the mansion, Lana is surprised to learn the true identity of the stalker. This week on SHoE – With Houston and Will out of town, Derek, Tucker, and Graham try to make it through review of a season one repeat…wait, this was a new episode?

February 1, 2007 – During a Valentine’s Day party, Lois is given a tube of lipstick laced with red kryptonite, designed to cause her to fall in love with the first person she sees. When Lois kisses Clark, he becomes immediately affected. Chloe and Martha quickly realize the truth and grab some green kryptonite to neutralize the effects. Before they can, a fight with Lex causes Lana to grow more suspicious about Clark’s secret. Derek and Houston delve into episode 6.13 – “Crimson” and give their thoughts. They also discuss big changes on the horizon for SHoE, including new formats, new ways to get in contact with the crew and more.

Green Arrow speaks! Derek and Tucker talk with actor Justin Hartley about his role as Oliver Queen (aka The Green Arrow) on “Smallville,” and also his work as Aquaman on “Mercy Reef.” Justin shares some stories from the set, what his favorite moments were on and off the set and who he enjoyed working with.

January 25, 2007 – Clark is attacked by a “Zoner”, but when he wakes up he finds himself in a sanitarium, and without his powers. He is informed that his entire life, as he believes it, has been nothing more than a fabrication he created to cope with his biological parents’ death in the meteor shower. Another patient tries to help Clark, warning him that the phantom is actually attempting to take over Clark’s body. This week on SHoE: Derek, Tucker and Will review episode 6.12 – “Labyrinth”. They discuss the role of J’onn J’onzz in the episode and where he will lie as an ally for Clark in the rest of the season.

In part two of our Interview, Derek and Tucker get down to undisclosed business with Steven DeKnight, writer, director and co-executive producer for “Smallville,” about his work on “Justice”, “Smallville’s” 11th episode for season six. We then go in-depth about season six’s premiere episode, “Zod” and discuss Steven’s work on the show since season four.

Tucker and Derek talk to Steven S. DeKnight, writer, director and co-executive producer for “Smallville,” about his previous work on “Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” “Angel,” and of course, “Smallville.” He also discusses his involvement on MTV’s “Undressed,” “Firefly,” “Buffy the Animated Series,” and “The Punisher 2.”

January 18, 2007 – Bart, A.C., and Victor return to Smallville with Oliver. Oliver believes Lex is amassing an army of kryptonite-enhanced people in his level 33.1 projects. When Bart is captured, Clark and the others band together to rescue him and destroy Lex’s facility. After completing their mission, Oliver says goodbye to Lois and leaves town with Bart, A.C., and Victor in search of Lex’s other 33.1 facilities. DEREK CALLS ON TUCKER, WILL, AND HOUSTON TO FILM A VIDEO EPISODE: Derek and the SHoE League unite to return to Starkville to review and infiltrate Smallville’s most kept-secret episode this season: “Justice”. The usual hilarity finds the 4-some stuck on a couch and giving you an in-depth look at what they do each week in bringing this podcast to the internet.

Derek talks with James Carrington, whose song “Ache” appeared on this seasons episode 6.03 “Wither”. James discusses his music, Smallville, where you can find him live, and also shares some personal stories and great new music! Enjoy!

January 11, 2007 – Linda Lake, a gossip columnist with the ability to morph into water, uses her ability to uncover incriminating stories, including one about Lana, Lex and Clark. Lois suspects that Oliver is actually the Green Arrow. She sets up an elaborate scheme to catch him, but Clark dresses up as Green Arrow and while in disguise, shares a passionate kiss with Lois, which both enjoy. Chloe and Linda get into a fight, when Chloe discovers Linda’s new story about Clark. Clark learns about Lana’s pregnancy, and she finally accepts Lex’s proposal. This week on SHoE – Smallville finally returns in 2007, and the full Starkville crew assembles to discuss episode 6.10 “Hydro”. We talk about all the new spoilers, and news surrounding upcoming episodes, including SHoE news, trivia, plus we reveal our “Justice” contest winner!

December 7, 2006 – Jed McNally is forcing illegal immigrants to work on his farm in Smallville. Javier, who has come to Kansas to search for his mother, manages to escape, but his friend gets pulled into the ground during the attempt. McNally is arrested, but escapes by burrowing into the ground. Chloe and Jimmy locate Javier’s mother. Lex has McNally imprisoned in the newly relocated 33.1. This week on SHoE – Derek, Tucker, Houston and Graham bring you all the latest news for the upcoming second half of the season. There are some upcoming devlopments crucial to the fan base of House of El, plus the review of 6.09 – “Subterranean” and reactions to the trailer for “Hydro/Justice.”

November 16, 2016 – Level 33.1 patient Bronson breaches the mansion and kidnaps Lex, transporting him to another frequency plane. Clark learns of another escaped Phantom Zone criminal and heads to Seattle to find him. Bronson kidnaps Lana, in an effort to force Lex to reveal the new location of 33.1. Jimmy triangulates their positions to pull them out, but not before Lex kills Bronson. Clark has his first encounter with The Martian Manhunter. Lex proposes to Lana. This week on SHoE – Tucker and Derek put out an episode by their lonesome. Houston is out of town and Graham is busy with a production elsewhere. Despite the lack of help, Tucker and Derek review the latest episode “Static” in yet another entertaining episode of Starkville’s House of El Podcast!

November 9, 2006 – Oliver bails on Lois when a couple is being mugged at gunpoint. While attempting to stop the muggers, Oliver is shot. When Clark checks in on Oliver, Oliver has no visible signs of being shot. Clark and Chloe discover that Oliver’s research facility is developing a drug that heals almost any wound instantly. Lana learns that she is pregnant. This week on SHoE – We reflect on our amazing weekend with John Schneider and then proceed with our review of 6×07 – “Rage”. We announce the winner of our “Publicity” contest and read several e-mails from you guys. There are some very exciting things going down behind the scenes at SHoE so subscribe!

November 2, 2006 – An escaped phantom, Baern, takes possession of a young boy’s body (Bow Wow) and sets his sights on finding Kal-El. As Clark is studying the satellite images, he gets an unexpected visitor, Raya. The escaped “Zoner” locates Clark and arrives at the Kent Farm, but is forced to retreat. Baern returns with more power, and after Raya is fatally injured, Clark uses the House of El crystal to capture Baern. This week on SHoE – Listen for our review of 6×06 – “Fallout”, Houston and Derek pick up slack in Tucker’s absence with a great episode, great discussion, emails, trivia, news, and of course, our countdown to John Schneider on SHoE!

October 26, 2006 – Lex and Oliver attend their 10 year reunion, where the animosity between them is obviously rising as talk of Lex’s deceased best friend, Duncan, brings tension. When Oliver’s old friends begin to die one by one, he starts an investigation into who is responsible. Oliver gives Clark the satellite images from “Dark Thursday”, in exchange for helping him find out who is killing his friends. This week on SHoE we review and discuss Episode 6×05 – “Reunion.” We then go over some of our expectations and predictions for Season Six and much much more! Plus, we read your e-mails and oh yeah… you’re going to want to read the next paragraph: We finally reveal our mystery guest! John Schneider (Smallville’s Jonathan Kent).

October 19, 2006 – A thief crashes Lionel’s party for Martha’s U.S. Senate bid, and steals a priceless necklace from Martha. Clark goes to Metropolis to find the necklace, and quickly discovers that Oliver is the thief. Lois believes she’s landed a new front page story with the Inquisitor, calling the thief “Green Arrow”, but her story is ruined when he steals her only evidence. This week on SHoE – Listen for our review of 6×04 – “Arrow”, we announce a new opportunity to win swag from us and we also give a tease for some BIG news that is coming soon to SHoE. There are some exciting things coming down the pipe so get psyched!

October 12, 2006 – Lex throws a costume charity ball to help raise funds for the restoration process after “Dark Thursday”. Lana has conflicting feelings about trusting Lex, and she confides in Chloe. Clark learns that others have escaped the Phantom Zone when he and Chloe discover Gloria, a park ranger, is kidnapping men to harbor her alien seeds. October 5, 2006 – Clark spends his nights helping the rebuilding effort of Metropolis. When Clark develops a cold, he discovers a new super power. An inadvertent sneeze blows the barn door off its hinges and across town, nearly striking Lois. While seeking the truth behind the falling door, Lois discovers a new love for investigative journalism. Oliver Queen, one of Lex’s old classmates, moves to Metropolis. He has Lex captured to investigate Lex’s powers. Join us this week for our discussion of Episode 6.02 – “Sneeze”. September 28, 2006 – Clark, still stuck in the Phantom Zone, gets help from his father’s assistant, Raya, in escaping. Chloe runs into former flame Jimmy Olsen, a new intern photographer at the Daily Planet. Clark returns from the Phantom Zone and confronts Zod. Using the House of El crystal Raya gave him, Clark defeats Zod. It also becomes apparent that other Phantom Zone criminals escaped with Clark. Your wait is over, SHoE and Smallville have returned! Join us as we discuss the Smallville Season 6 Premiere! Derek is sucessful in his attempts to get Tucker and Houston back onto the show, however, Houston has fled to Boston for the week so Derek and Tucker go head to head in their review of “Zod” on this week’s “House of El” podcast. August 23, 2006 – In this week’s episode, the guys discuss the first season six trailer. Their buddy Joe joins them, and they have a good time trying to make something out of barely anything.

August 16, 2006 – This week the guys have a couple of spoilers, but they decided to dedicate most of the show to “Mercy Reef,” the Aquaman pilot. Listen to the possible new theme song, and as Graham comes in late.Special Guest: Tucker Colburn.

August 10, 2006 – Not a lot going on right now in the Smallville world, but the guys must press on. To help with the pressing is Graham. No mic for Grahammy, but you can still hear what he’s got to say. Don’t abandon the show just yet. They appreciate the fans who stick with them now more than the ones who’ll pick them up later. But like parents, they love all our kids equally.
