Question #1This is a 3-part question reference the gift of speaking in tongues:If you had the gift, can you lose it? And if so, How or why? In 1 Corinthians 12:29-30 I interpret it to mean that everyone doesn’t receive the gift of tongues but can have other gifts. Do you feel it is necessary for all to pray for the gift of tongues even though it might not be their gift or is it a gift given to a person by the Holy Spirit? Question #2 I recently found out my 25-year-old nephew is afraid of death and has been most of his life. I don’t have much contact with him (and never did) as he lives in NJ. That is scriptural from what I have studied. Question #3I have a couple of questions about people who claim to be Christians and go to church on a regular basis. With all the dating apps out there one person goes on and pays money on a regular basis and has even been scammed when they got their banking information and kept taking money out and sending overseas.They say they want someone and especially an Asian woman whom he has never met other than what is in the brochures that look like hookers.Even under the roof of Christians they will go on these websites and the supposedly Christian home says it’s okay.To me they can preach they are God fearing Christians while promoting sin?

Question #1 I found some of our Catholic rosaries and Mary statue given as family gifts for my kids first communions. One time I thought they were sentimental keepsakes. Now I wonder if I should toss them. I have been trying to get rid of things I have purchased as art or souvenirs (Egypt, Native American) that may represent the occult. I have a medical marijuana card that I use for pain relief from a back injury. What is the difference between Rx pain medication (Vicodin, Percocet, etc.) and medical marijuana? I have heard Pastor Tom talk about marijuana from the pulpit, but never about other pain medication. Isn’t it better to use something more natural for pain relief as opposed to something that is habit-forming and that your body builds up a tolerance to?Question #3Is there a time when Jesus chooses not to heal or maybe it is not the right time to heal? I recently saw an interview between two Christian men, one born with no arms and legs. The second man asked him if he questioned healing because he was born this way. They both agreed that there are times when God does not choose to heal. Talk about those in situations like this or in any situation where they are sick or suffering.

I am not sure who that is viewed by our God. I do make money in the band, and I do tithe off of that money as well as my full-time day job. How can I know if I should quit?
