Behold Tom Bolyard. The man who led Ft. Wayne South Side to an IHSAA title his junior year and was a Parade All-American as senior. The man who played for Branch McCracken and took the court with Walt Bellamy, Jimmy Rayl, the Van Arsdales, John McGlocklin, and still somehow became one of the all-time great scorers in Indiana history. His ranking fell, but he took his high school team to back-to-back state titles and punched his ticket for Bloomington. D.J. White was born & raisedin football-frenzied Alabama, but soon realized his destiny lie north, in basketball-bonkers Indiana.
