Coach Teri Moren and her Hoosier squad pummeled Purdue to claim at least a share of the Big Ten Championship for the first time in 40 years, doing so in front of the first-ever sell-out of Assembly Hall for a women's basketball game.
As if that wasn't enough, Mike Woodson and his Hoosier squad triumphed over the Illini in a nail-biting battle that almost ended with Ward and Eric being permanently banned from all IU sporting events. Not only did the Hoosiers take sole possession of 3rd place in the conference, but Trayce Jackson-Davis surpassed his very own coach for the 5th most points ever scored in the men's program.
