This week, I wanted to discuss something that's been on my mind for a while now and that's the fact that there stepparents have an extremely important job to do once they enter a family. The love and care that's involved in raising someone else's child and making them your own, in a sense, is an extremely impactful and meaningful choice that we may make light of today due to the memes we enjoy. Also, I want to address here that I didn't get to highlight the inspiration more in the episode. While my father was a great stepfather in his own right, my mother was a shining example of not just being a stepparent, but truly being the parent that stepped up.
