Underrecruited, Armstrong went to D2 Texas A&M-Commerce… where he spent four years, but didn't even play the first two after a redshirt season and a lost season due to Covid. Then, he excelled. Now, Armstrong has emerged as a go-to target for quarterback KJ Jefferson and the Arkansas offense. And make no mistake, this was always his plan.
