Show Notes

The state government has cancelled Melbourne’s flagship Australia Day parade next year citing COVID-19 as the main reason.  Some Victorian schools are choosing to keep students in the same classes with the same teachers for another year, in a bid to help deal with the aftermath of home learning. Fatal shark attacks have increased in Australia over the past 20 years. There have been eight fatalities so far this year, the most number of deaths since 1929. Victoria is set for a post-COVID baby boom with maternity bookings at some hospitals already skyrocketing for the new year.
