Australia’s first COVID-19 vaccine has been approved, the TGA has declared the Pfizer vaccine is safe for use and effective at preventing serious illness. Thousands of people are expected to attend Australia Day protests across the city despite a 100 person limit on public gatherings. The historic Melbourne House on Little Bourke Street is set to be saved from being demolished and instead turned into a 14-storey tower under a new $34m development plan.
