Food security is national security, and a nation that cannot feed itself is not free. This was the message I shared at the Arkansas Cattlemen’s Association’s Annual Convention earlier this year, and after my speech I connected with farmer and veteran Ryan Pace. Sharing his experiences on his tour of duty overseas, Pace explains exactly what food security, or lack thereof, looks like.
