In this episode we talk about tips for staying on track while traveling and how to avoid digestive woes. We also talk about when to remove the scale from your routine and using other measures of progress.
Tip or Trick - Replacing your meal prep containers with glass containers so you can reduce exposure to BPAs and other toxic chemicals. We recommend these.
Travel Tips
- Water. Water. Water. Stay Hydrated!
- Movement - stretch, walk! Exercise can help with jet lag! Working out can help with resetting your circadian rhythms. Bring a jumprope or resistance bands.
- Eat a good ‘normal’ breakfast and lunch, indulge a bit in the evenings at dinner.
- Pack Things
- Protein
- Greens
- Fruit - apples, grapes, oranges
- Protein bars
- Think Jerky
- Tuna packets
- Nut butter packets
- Microwaveable rice packets
- Bring a meal on the plane
