Republicans simply don’t believe that protecting the people of America is a legitimate function of government and they’re strengthened in that belief by far-right billionaires’ money showered on them. Is the far-Right’s entire agenda driven by "Liberals are Evil?" And because they believe in the “greater truth” of their narrative, they have no compunction about lying in the service of spreading it. Also, how privatization of the commons is harming countries and communities. First hit by privatization, Puerto Rico is in 'total blackout' as Fiona makes landfall - First Hurricane Maria devastated the island in 2017. Then the power grid was privatized in 2020. Now this.
