The annual rate of inflation rose to 9.1% in June, its fastest rate in 38 years. Over two thirds of that increase is made up of higher transport and housing costs, which include gas and electricity. Economist Jim Power joined Kieran to discuss what this means for us and what lessons have we learnt from when this happened in the 80s.
